Bride
Carol Kim was born in Chicago on February 24th, 1979. She grew up there along with her older and younger brother before moving on to Urbana-Champaign to attend the University of Illinois. She received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and worked as a pediatric nurse for 1 1/2 years before moving back home. She is currently working as a registered nurse at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in downtown Chicago in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. She also attends Calvary Presbyterian Church where both her and Patrick enjoy spending time with the youth group kids.

Groom
Patrick Yoon was born in Arlington Heights on June 6th, 1978. He was raised in Elk Grove Village and for the last 7 years he resided in Urbana-Champaign where he received his bachelors and masters degrees in Kinesiology. He is currently attending Northwestern University where he is pursuing his doctorate in cancer research. When Patrick is not trying to find a cure for cancer he attends Calvary Presbyterian Church where he is serving as a youth group teacher.
